Incapacidad por enfermedad general. Para el reconocimiento y pago de la prestación económica de la incapacidad por enfermedad general, conforme a las disposiciones laborales vigentes, se requerirá que los afiliados cotizantes hubieren efectuado aportes por un mínimo de cuatro (4) semanas. No habrá lugar al reconocimiento de la prestación económica de la incapacidad por enfermedad general con cargo a los recursos del Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud, cuando estas se originen en tratamientos con fines estéticos o se encuentran excluidos del plan de beneficios y sus complicaciones.

Decreto 2353 de 2015 · por el cual se unifican y actualizan las reglas de afiliación al Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud, se crea el Sistema de Afiliación Transaccional y se definen los instrumentos para garantizar la continuidad en la afiliación y el goce efectivo del derecho a la salud.
