La persona que encuentre una cédula, por haberse extraviado estará obligada a entregarla a la autoridad más próxima. Si esta fuere civil, se remitirá por su conducto al Comando Militar más cercano. El propietario deberá avisar al Ministerio de Guerra - Departamento de Personal - la pérdida o extravió del documento.
