Intereses sobre cesantías. El Fondo Nacional de Ahorro reconocerá y abonará en la cuenta de cesantías de cada servidor público afiliado, intereses sobre las cesantías de cada servidor público afiliado, dicho interés será el sesenta por ciento (60%) de la variación anual del Indice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC) sobre las cesantías liquidadas por la entidad nominadora correspondientes al año inmediatamente anterior o proporcional por la fracción de año que se liquide definitivamente. Para efectos del presente decreto, la variación anual del Indice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC) será la última certificada por el Departamento Administrativo de Estadística, DANE, para los meses de noviembre-noviembre para empleados medios.
