Para que un documento privado se tenga como auténtico, es preciso que se pruebe en el proceso su autenticidad. El Juez apreciará el valor probatorio de los documentos privados, teniendo en cuenta si su autenticidad ha sido o no probada en el proceso, y, además, las normas de la crítica.
