FUNCIONES DEL CONSEJO DIRECTIVO. - Son funciones del Consejo Directivo de la Superintendencia de Notariado y Registro:

1.

1. Formular la política general del organismo y adoptar los planes y programas conforme a las normas legales, de acuerdo con la orientación del Gobierno Nacional.

2.

2. Controlar el funcionamiento general de la entidad y verificar su conformidad con la política adoptada.

3.

3. Aprobar el presupuesto de la entidad y las modificaciones que se le hagan.

4.

4. Autorizar al Superintendente la celebración de los contratos o negocios de la entidad, cuya cuantía exceda la suma que el Consejo determine.

5.

5. Adoptar los estatutos de la entidad y someterlos a la aprobación del Gobierno.

6.

6. Señalar el volumen de negocios y la cuantía de ingresos de las oficinas de registro para determinar su respectiva estructura interna.

7.

7. Las demás que les sean asignadas.
