Ley 157 de 1936 · Por la cual se fija la remuneración de los Congresistas y el sueldo de los Ministros del Despacho

Durante las reuniones del Congreso, el total de los sueldos de la Secretaria del Senado no podrá exceder de seis mil pesos ($6.000) mensuales. Durante el receso parlamentario, dichos sueldos no excederán de tres mil trescientos pesos ($3.300) mensuales. Los sueldos del personal de la Secretaria de la Cámara de Representantes, no podrán exceder de siete mil quinientos pesos ($ 7.500) mensuales, durante la reunión del Congreso, ni de cuatro mil pesos ($ 4.000) mensuales, durante el receso parlamentario.

Las comisiones reglamentarias de cada Cámara, organizadas actualmente o que se organicen en lo futuro, tendrán carácter permanente, y las funciones que se les atribuyan en leyes especiales o en los respectivos Reglamentos.
