Art. 1878. Si avenidos vendedor i comprador en el precio, señalaren día para el peso, cuenta o medida, i el uno o el otro no compareciere en él, será éste obligado a resarcir al otro los perjuicios que de su neglijencia resultaren; i el vendedor o comprador que no faltó a la cita, podrá, si le conviniere, desistir del contrato.
