ART 156. El colombiano que siendo legalmente llamado á servir en el Ejército ó armada no se presentare á hacer este servicio, sufrirá la pena de uno á seis meses de prisión.

El colombiano que en tiempo de peligro y no teniendo impedimento físico, rehusare defender la República con las armas, sufrirá la pena de un mes á un año de reclusión, sin perjuicio en ambos casos, de llenar oportunamente el deber que le impone la ley, haciendo el servicio expresado.
