RETIRO POR SOLICITUD PROPIA. Los Agentes de la Policía Nacional podrán solicitar su retiro del servicio activo en cualquier tiempo, el cual se concederá cuando no medien razones de seguridad nacional o especiales del servicio que requieran su permanencia en actividad, a juicio del Director General de la Institución.
