Los empleados y obreros de la Imprenta Nacional tendrán derecho a asistencia médica gratuita, a medicinas y demás elementos necesarios en caso de enfermedad contraída en el servicio y por razón del mismo, según las siguientes reglas:

Cuando la enfermedad fuere de carácter grave o de tal naturaleza que hubiere lugar a hospitalización, esta será por cuenta de la Nación.

Durante la enfermedad gozarán del valor de su sueldo o jornal por los primeros sesenta días y del cincuenta por ciento si la incapacidad excediere de este tiempo.

Si la enfermedad contraída fuera de lepra, tendrán los mismos derechos que reconoce el artículo 1° de la Ley 4ª de 1930 a los empleados de la Policía Nacional.
