Art. 1.° Apruébase la división verificada en el mencionado decreto de la Gobernación del Departamento del Cauca. Los ocho Distritos ó circunscripciones electorales se denominarán así : Sur, capital Túquerres, Guáitara, capital Pasto, Patía, capital Bolívar, Puracé, capital Popayán, Pacífico, capital Cali, Amaime, capital Palmira, Buga, capital Buga y Norte, capital Río-sucio.
