ARTICULO 2.1.1.8.- INSCRIPCION Y OFERTA PUBLICA DE LOS DOCUMENTOS DE REGULACION DEL MERCADO MONETARIO Y CAMBIARIO. Los títulos que por disposición de la junta directiva del Banco de la República emita con el objeto de regular el mercado monetario o cambiario, tienen el carácter de títulos valores y se consideran inscritos tanto en el Registro Nacional de Valores e Intermediarios, como en las bolsas de valores y las ofertas públicas correspondientes no requerirán autorización de ninguna otra autoridad. Tales títulos se regirán por las disposiciones generales que dicte la Junta Directiva y en los casos no previstos por ella, por las contenidas en el Código de Comercio.
