Los contadores con título universitario, deberán, al recibir dicho título, prestar en forma solemne un juramento de respetar la constitución y leyes de la República, resguardar con diligencia y lealtad los intereses de sus clientes, o patronos, sin menoscabo de la dignidad profesional, guardar sigilo sobre lo que supieren en razón de sus actividades o funciones. Este mismo juramento deberán prestar los contadores licenciados o sin título universitario antes de que se proceda a su inscripción a matrícula.
