DEFINICIÓN DEL SISTEMA: El Sistema de Salud de las Fuerzas Militares y de la Policía Nacional es un conjunto interrelacionado de Instituciones, Organismos, Dependencias, Afiliados, Beneficiarios, Recursos, Políticas, Principios, Fundamentos, Planes, Programas y Procesos debidamente articulados y armonizados entre sí, para el cumplimiento de la misión, cual es prestar el servicio público esencial en salud a sus afiliados y beneficiarios.
