En los casos previstos en el artículo anterior, el Contralor General abrirá juicio de cuentas al respectivo Ministro o Jefe de Departamento, y deducirá la responsabilidad a que hubiere lugar, debiendo remitir el expediente a la Cámara de Representantes para la aprobación del alcance. De la responsabilidad en que pueda incurrir el Contralor General en estos casos, conocerá la Corte Suprema de Justicia conforme a lo previsto en el artículo 78 de la Ley 42 de 1923.
