Autoridades sanitarias de la red nacional de laboratorios. Por autoridades sanitarias de la Red Nacional de Laboratorios, se entienden el Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social, las Direcciones Territoriales de Salud, el Instituto Nacional de Salud (INS), el Instituto Nacional de Vigilancia de Medicamentos y Alimentos (Invima), y todas aquellas entidades que de acuerdo con la ley, ejercen funciones de inspección, vigilancia y control sanitario, las cuales deben adoptar medidas de prevención y seguimiento que garanticen la protección de la salud pública y el cumplimiento de lo dispuesto en el presente Capítulo.
