Las instituciones educativas que primordialmente atiendan niños hipoacúsicos, basadas en estrategias y metodologías para la promoción y el desarrollo de la lengua oral, podrán continuar prestando el servicio educativo, de acuerdo con los respectivos proyectos personalizados y atendiendo las disposiciones del Decreto 2082 de 1996.
