Ley 23 de 1981 · Por la cual se dictan normas en materia de ética médica

Para ejercer la profesión de médico se requiere:

Refrendar el título respectivo ante el Ministerio de Educación Nacional;

Registrar el título ante el Ministerio de Salud;

Cumplir con los demás requisitos que para los efectos señalen las disposiciones legales.

Parágrafo

El Ministerio de Salud expedirá a cada médico un carné o tarjeta profesional que acredite su calidad de tal, y enviará mensualmente a la Federación Médica Colombiana una relación completa de los profesionales registrados, identificándolos con el número correspondiente a su tarjeta profesional.
