El Instituto de Aprovechamiento de Aguas y Fomento Eléctrico, en sus programas inmediatos de integración del sistema de energía eléctrica en la zona de Valledupar y Codazzi, necesariamente lo extenderá hasta las poblaciones de Casacará y Becerril, completando así el Circuito. Para ello se auxilia al referido Instituto con la suma de doscientos cincuenta mil pesos, ($ 250.000.00), que le serán entregados por el Gobierno Nacional.
