Organización de las dependencias . El Jefe del Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad fijará mediante resolución las funciones de las secciones establecidas en la estructura y podrá crear, suprimir o fusionar, cuando las circunstancias lo aconsejen, Unidades Regionales de Inteligencia, Unidades Especiales, Puestos Operativos, Grupos y Patrullas. Igualmente determinará las funciones y las relaciones de subordinación con las restantes reparticiones y asignará, con base en la planta de personal vigente, los cargos correspondientes.
