Los privilegios e inmunidades del Cónsul Honorario y de la Oficina Consular Honoraria se regirán por lo que establece el Capítulo III de la Convención de Viena de 1963 sobre Relaciones Consulares y lo estipulado en las leyes y reglamentos vigentes sobre la materia en el Estado receptor. Los Cónsules Honorarios no pueden reclamar otros ni mayores privilegios de los que les otorgan dichas normas.
