El Instituto Nacional de Donación y Trasplante de Órganos y Tejidos (INDTOT) tiene como objeto coordinar y operar el Sistema Nacional de Donación y Trasplante de Órganos y Tejidos de Colombia, con el fin de que los trasplantes sean accesibles en condiciones de calidad, oportunidad y suficiencia a la población colombiana, siguiendo los principios de cooperación, eficiencia, equidad y solidaridad.
