De los criterios de clasificación . Para clasificación de los plaguicidas se tendrán los siguientes criterios

a)

Dosis letal oral e inhalatoria en ratas y dérmica en conejos;

b)

Estudios de toxicidad crónica;

c)

Efectos potenciales cancerígenos, mutagénicos y teratogénicos;

d)

Presentación y formulación;

e)

Forma y dosis de aplicación;

f)

Persistencia y degradabilidad;

g)

Acción tóxica, aguda, subaguda y crónica en humanos y animales;

h)

Factibilidad de diagnóstico médico y tratamiento con recuperación total;

i)

Efectos ambientales a corto plazo.
