Son "aeronaves del Estado" las aeronaves Militares y las demás exclusivamente dedicadas a un servicio del Estado; las otras son "aeronaves privadas."

Cualquier aeronave comandada por un Militar en servicio activo, comisionado al efecto, se considera como una aeronave militar.
