A petición de parte, hecha por lo menos con dos días de anticipación, los peritos y testigos que se indiquen en ella deberán concurrir a la audiencia; pero los interesados estarán obligados a pagar los gastos de traslado y estada en el lugar del juicio cuando las personas citadas residieren fuera de él.
