JUZGAMIENTO DEL AUSENTE. Si ante la ausencia del investigado la notificación del auto de cargos se surtió por edicto, cumplidos los términos legales para responder dicho auto se dejarán las constancias respectivas y de inmediato se procederá a designar un defensor de oficio, a quien se le notificará del auto de cargos, debiendo responderlo en el término de seis (6) días y con quien se continuará el trámite procesal.
