Definición de obligaciones contingentes. En los términos del

Parágrafo

del artículo primero de la Ley 448 de 1998, son obligaciones contingentes aquéllas en virtud de las cuales alguna de las entidades señaladas en el artículo 2.4.1.8 del presente título, estipula contractualmente a favor de su contratista, el pago de una suma de dinero, determinada o determinable a partir de factores identificados, por la ocurrencia de un hecho futuro e incierto. (Art. 6 Decreto 423 de 2001)
