Los exámenes antropoheredobiológicos serán practicados por el Laboratorio de genética del ICBF a solicitud del Juez, en relación con asuntos de su competencia. Estos exámenes se realizarán en forma simultánea, a las personas involucradas en el proceso. Con el fin de preconstituír la prueba, el Defensor de Menores podrá también solicitar la práctica de los mismos. El Laboratorio de Genética emitirá los conceptos sobre la materia que le soliciten los funcionarios de la rama jurisdiccional.
