Para ser socio de una cooperativa se requiere:

1º Ser legalmente capaz

2º reunir los requisitos y condiciones exigidos por los estatutos.

De la sociedad de responsabilidad ilimitada solo pueden serlo las personas que tengan la libre administración de sus bines conforme al derecho común pueden ser socios las personas jurídicas que no persigan fines de lucro.
