Comparabilidad. Las estadísticas del sector turístico que genere el Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística (DANE), garantizarán la comparabilidad internacional y para el efecto, adoptarán las mejores prácticas, lineamientos técnicos, conceptuales y metodológicos presentados por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU), particularmente la Organización Mundial del Turismo (OMT); la Comunidad Andina (CAN), entre otros organismos o acuerdos multilaterales.
