La vigilancia de la gestión fiscal del Fondo Vial Nacional se ejercerá por la Contraloría General de la República a través de la Auditoría del Ministerio de Obras Públicas. La Contraloría dictará un reglamento fiscal del Fondo, de acuerdo con la naturaleza de las operaciones del mismo y con el propósito de darle la debida agilidad administrativa.
