Objeto. Los objetivos de la Superintendencia de Transporte son

Inspeccionar, vigilar y controlar la aplicación y el cumplimiento de las normas de transporte.

Inspeccionar, vigilar y controlar la permanente, eficiente y segura prestación del servicio de transporte.

Inspeccionar, vigilar y controlar los contratos de concesión destinados a la provisión, operación y/o mantenimiento de la infraestructura de transporte.
