Comité de Planeamiento Estratégico . El Comité de Planeamiento Estratégico estará presidido por el Superintendente General de Puertos y compuesto por el Secretario General, los Jefes de Oficina y de los Jefes de las Direcciones de Planeamiento Portuario y Técnico. El Comité de Planeamiento Estratégico tendrá las siguientes funciones

1.

Elaborar y aprobar el plan estratégico del sector portuario colombiano.

2.

Evaluar las medidas referentes a los Planes de Expansión Portuaria.

3.

Elaborar y aprobar el plan estratégico de la Superintendencia General de Puertos, así como los planes de acciones operativos.

4.

Aprobar internamente el presupuesto general de la Superintendencia General de Puertos para ser presentado al Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Transporte. El Secretario General de la Superintendencia actuará como secretario en este Comité.
