Como contribución de la Republica a este centenario, se auxilia al Municipio de Honda con la cantidad de Cien mil pesos ($100.000.00). El Gobierno Nacional queda facultado para pagar esta suma al Municipio o para hacerse cargo de deudas municipales por igual valor, contraídas exclusivamente para la construcción de obras de servicio público. En este último caso, el Gobierno efectuará los arreglos correspondientes con los respectivos acreedores .
