El Fiscal examinará separadamente a cada testigo en presencia del Consejo, y el Secretario irá consignando el extracto de las declaraciones en forma que ni se ponga lo inútil ni se omita lo esencial para el esclarecimiento de los hechos. El defensor puede interrogar y repreguntar a los testigos, de todo lo cual se hará también un extracto de los puntos esenciales, que será leído al exponente, y una vez aprobado se firmará por éste, el Fiscal, el defensor, en aquello en que hubiere intervenido, y el Secretario.
