Art. 7.° La clase preparatoria continuará como está establecida, i comprenderá las materias de enseñanza siguientes, a saber: ejercicios de escritura, ortografia, gramática castellana, traducion i rudimentos gramaticales de frances, o ingles, aritmética, áljebra hasta las ecuaciones de segundo grado, comprendiendo las potencias i raíces, i la demostracion i uso de la fórmula del binomio de Newton. jeometria elemental, teórica i práctica, elementos de cosmografía i de jeografia, dibujo linear.
