El pago diario y completo de las raciones se hará de preferencia á cualquier otro gasto del servicio nacional. Cuando por razón de hallarse en campaña ó en despoblado haya de suministrarse á la tropa la ración en especies, no podrá cargarse como valor de éstas una suma mayor de cuarenta centavos diarios á cada individuo.
