El escrutinio municipal comenzará a las nueve de la mañana del martes siguiente a las elecciones, en las oficinas de las Registradurías Municipales; y en las que determine el Registrador Nacional, conforme al artículo 35 de la presente Ley. Los miembros de la Comisión Escrutadora activarán la entrega de los documentos electorales de las inspecciones de policía, corregimientos y caseríos que no se hayan introducido en el arca triclave al empezar el escrutinio, verificarán cuidadosamente el día, la hora y el estado de los mismos al ser entregados, de todo lo cual quedará constancia con su firma en el acta de recibo que suscriben los claveros.
