Art. 57. Las funciones de los Fiscales de Circuito, en lo referente á juicios y diligencias de carácter administrativo, ó civil de jurisdicción voluntaria, serán cumplidas por los Personeros municipales ante los Juzgados de Circuito, excepto en las cabeceras de Distrito Judicial, en donde estas funciones corresponden al Fiscal del Tribunal. En cuanto á los asuntos criminales, los Jueces y demás funcionarios se abstendrán en lo sucesivo de dar participación al Ministerio Público en todo lo que se relacione con los Fiscales suprimidos.
