La Nación procederé a pagar a la Universidad del Cauca la deuda que tiene pendiente, por cuatrocientos trece mil trescientos catorce pesos con cuarenta y cinco centavos ($413.314.45), según contrato suscrito entre el Ministerio de Obras (Publicas y el Rector de dicha Universidad, de fecha 27 de mayo de 1953, suma que fue invertida en la adquisición de equipos de laboratorio que están actualmente en servicio.
