Art. 1.° La Corte de Cuentas se compone de diez Magistrados nombrados en propiedad para un período de cuatro años, así: cinco por el Senado y cinco por la Cámara de Representantes. Al misino tiempo se nombrará un número igual de suplentes.

Los Magistrados de la Corte de Cuentas pueden ser reelegidos indefinidamente.

El primer período de los Magistrados empezará á contarse desde el día 1.° de Enero próximo.
