Para el cumplimiento de las funciones señaladas en el artículo anterior, el Ministerio de Justicia estará asistido por un Consejo Consultivo, presidido por el Ministro e integrado por el Procurador General de la Nación, el Presidente de la Corte Suprema de Justicia, el Presidente del Consejo de Estado y por dos abogados en ejercicio designados por la Academia Colombiana de Jurisprudencia para período de dos años.
