Con el fin de afianzar la unidad familiar y procurar la readaptación social, el Director Regional del Inpec podrá conceder permisos de salida por los fines de semana, incluyendo lunes festivos, al condenado que le fuere negado el beneficio de la libertad condicional y haya cumplido las cuatro quintas partes (4/5) de la condena, siempre que se reúnan los requisitos señalados en el artículo anterior.

Estos permisos se otorgarán cada dos (2) semanas y por el período que reste de la condena.
