ARTICULO 500 . Ejecución de penas y medidas de seguridad . La ejecución de las penas y medidas de seguridad impuestas mediante sentencia debidamente ejecutoriada, corresponde a la Dirección General de Prisiones con la vigilancia del juez de ejecución de penas y medidas de seguridad. En todo lo relacionado con la ejecución de la pena, el Ministerio Público podrá intervenir e interponer los recursos que sean necesarios.
