º . Corresponde al Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario ICA en coordinación con el Instituto Nacional de Vigilancia de Medicamentos y Alimentos Invima, realizar la evaluación del status sanitario de los países exportadores, respecto de la EEB, conforme a la cual, el Gobierno Nacional, Ministerios de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural, de la Protección Social y de Comercio, Industria y Turismo, podrán autorizar la importación de carne y sus productos de dichos países y definirán las condiciones requeridas para la protección de la salud humana y animal, evitando que estas se constituyan en obstáculos injustificados al comercio.
