° El Jefe de Sanidad Vegetal supervigilará el fiel cumplimiento de las disposiciones del presente Decreto y de las resoluciones que en su desarrollo dicte el mismo, y sancionará a los infractores y renuentes con multas de un peso ($ 1) a cincuenta pesos ($ 50) por cada vez, y, en el caso de plantas de banano infectadas y cuyas hojas no se hayan cortado; y destruido, hasta de un peso ($ 1) por cada cepa. Estas multas ingresarán al Tesoro Nacional.
