El Fondo de Garantías de Instituciones Financieras podrá otorgar créditos a las entidades y en las condiciones previstas en el artículo 20 del Decreto 2331 de 1998 para financiar la adquisición de bienes inmuebles que las compañías de financiamiento comercial hayan entregado en leasing y cuya tenencia hayan recuperado posteriormente por razón del incumplimiento del locatario.
