Los encargados de una mesa de votación que consignen en el registro de votantes los nombres de personas que no ejercieren efectivamente esa función, serán sancionados con multas de quinientos pesos, convertibles en arresto a razón de un día por cada cinco pesos multas que les serán impuestas por el Registrador Municipal, sin perjuicio de las demás sanciones que puedan corresponderles al tenor de la legislación vigente.
