El producido de estas ventas se irá depositando en el Banco de la República, con el objeto de destinarlo exclusivamente a cubrir el 40% del Fondo de Fomento Municipal, aporte este que, con el 60% con que contribuirá la Nación, servirá para llevar a cabo la adquisición de una planta de energía eléctrica, luz y hielo para servicio del mencionado Distrito.
