El Congreso de Colombia se asocia al centenario del nacimiento del señor doctor Juan de Dios Carrasquilla L., como justo homenaje a sus eximias cualidades de ciudadano, y declara día fausto en los anales de la historia nacional el día 1.º de marzo de 1933, fecha en que se cumple el primer centenario del nacimiento de tan conspicuo hombre.
